Introduction to PUBG alternatives
With the pandemic and the recent conditions at the Indo-china border, the tension between India and China has increased three-folds in the past few months.
As a result, the Indian government has retaliated starting a cold war against the dragon by banning 59 Chinese apps on 29th June including the wildly popular Tik-Tok.
The third such strike by the Indian government on 2nd September increased the number of banned apps to 118 included one of the most popular gaming app called PUBG mobile. PUBG ban alone cost China $34 billion in just two days.
The popularity of PUBG was not all games as certain players depended on its earning hugely. So what are they to do? Well, there are always other games to go for, although none of the games has the same popularity as PUBG managed to gain in just a couple of years.

My friend is a big Pubg fan and his game of choice after the ban was Call of Duty so was my first choice for the list. I think it is the most obvious substitute that comes to anyone’s mind. The stream viewer base for Call of Duty is almost as big as that of PUBG.
So if you are thinking of streaming it will be a good alternative. Call of Duty is a first-person shooter game app that follows a similar fundamental as PUBG. And if you are into games I need not say more. It is a lot faster and is a lot more frantic as compared to PUBG and has its own gamers base.

This game is also based on surviving in a post-apocalyptic world in 2027. In this game, the cause destruction of almost all the human race is the outbreak of an unknown infection that destroyed almost all the human race. And all the are returning as zombies. Some cliches just won’t leave.
You have to survive and fight your way in this world. Also, look out for character’s life stats such as hunger and thirst, collect valuable resources, craft weapons, and transport of different types and make use of what you have at hand.

Battlelands Royale is yet another last man standing survival game designed specially designed for mobile. But it is not your everyday battle royale game. The game only lets 32 players play at a time for 3-5 minute battles it’s pure non-stop carnage! No waiting in lobbies; no complicated menus to navigate. Just play, parachute, loot, shoot, and survive! Players can either choose to play solo join forces with fellow battlers and play as powerful Duos.
Garena Free Fire

Garena Free Fire is a great substitute for PUBG and a lot of gamers have already made the jump. It is a survival shooter game for Android Users, was developed by a Singapore based company called Sea Ltd. Like Call of Duty this game will also attract the stranded PUBG fan base.
Garena Free Fire shares PUBG’s basic rules and fundamentals. In the game, your character lands on a distant island where it competes against other players, loot weapons and gear, battle it out to the death. The game allows combat battle with up to 150 players and has shorter bursts of gameplay up to 10 minutes in length.
Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground

Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground has gained quite a bit of popularity in the past days. This game is for the people who absolutely miss PUBG so bad that any other game won’t do. How? You ask.
Well, Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground is a complete PUBG clone but it comes with a twist. The twist isn’t in the gameplay though, its the graphics.
This game will give you the same gameplay in every way but with pixelated graphics. The kind you find in the Minecraft game. So if you are willing to settle on that then this is the ideal game for you. You can try it if not for the graphics then just for reminiscing PUBG.
