There is a national museum for World War 2, the New Orleans City Park, French Quarter and so much more to see.

7. Seattle, Washington
Seattle is another great location to visit on the western side of the country, and it is truly a jewel of a city. You may associate the city with rain, but the sights make it so worth it.
Be sure to visit Discovery Park, the Space Needle, and even the original Starbucks while here. You will have a mountain view no matter where you are in the city though, so be sure to take it all in.
